IT is wonderful! It gives freedom and creates clarity. It brings people together and creates room for yourself. It makes life more fun and work easier.
On the other hand… IT is complex, and ‘we’ can tell you anything. IT makes you vulnerable, and you cannot do without it. People and technology fail, so a lot goes wrong. Think of sluggishness, overruns, failures and abuse. That leads to fear, control, coercion, alienation and distrust. Who do you trust?
